Stage School

Ricarda’s Stage School offers a holistic foundation for musical theatre, designed for children, teenagers and adults who want to grow as versatile performers. The training combines singing, dancing, acting, and stage presence, reflecting Ricarda’s own experience across ballet, performance, and national television. In a supportive environment skills develop together, confidence grows, and young artists begin to find their identity on stage.
Singing
Singing begins with trust.
Through focused vocal training, students develop healthy technique, musicality, and confidence, learning to use their voice freely to express emotions and story.
Dancing
Dance is where music becomes visible.
Training builds coordination, musical awareness, and discipline, while encouraging expressive movement and a strong physical foundation for musical theatre.
Acting
Acting gives depth to performance.
Students learn to step naturally into different characters, connect voice and movement, and perform with authenticity and presence on stage and on camera.
Stage Presence

About me

Ricarda Poznanski

Music and dance have always played an important role in Ricarda’s life. She is drawn to lively music and moving lyrics and has experienced many touching and magical moments through ballet. She is passionate about sharing these experiences with children, teenagers, and adults.


Performances
Her performances have taken her to the English National Opera in London, where she appeared in productions such as Mireille and Julius Caesar, as well as to Opera Frankfurt, performing in Romeo and Juliet, Swan Lake, Lélio, and other productions.
tv appearances
Beyond the stage, Ricarda hosted her own national television formats, including RTL Pop News, Ein Abend mit Ricarda, and Frisurentips, reaching audiences of up to 1 million viewers. Ricarda also appeared in music videos for various artists, including Black Sabbath, OMD, Julian Lennon, ELO and more.
modeling
In the mid 80s Ricarda was ranked among the Top 100 British commercial models and worked as a brand model for designers and labels including Caroline Charles, Gabor, Pierre Alexandre, and Dirk Degengardt.
own projects
She has created choreographies and contributed to over 200 concerts, engagements, and benefit events. Since 2004, she has been the founder and director of Ballettschule Ricarda, her own ballet school dedicated to classical training and artistic development.
Education
Her classical ballet training took place at the Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts and was complemented by voice training at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London with Gloria Lytton. She further refined her craft through private ballet coaching with Joan Hewson, Anna DuBoisson, and Laverne Mayer, as well as private vocal studies with William Cochran, Paula Page, Anna Halamian, and Mitzi McManus.
